2025-26 OCES Basketball & Cheerleading

ELIGIBILTY:

Players MUST attend Owensboro Catholic Schools or be enrolled in a Catholic Church Religious Education Program

COST:

1 player = $50

Siblings = $35 (discount also includes Cheer if playing girls basketball)

DATES:

* Girls Basketball - Practices in October, games from late October thru December (Registration will be open until October 5th)

* Boys Basketball - Practices in December, games from January thru February (Registration will be open until November 23rd)

* Cheerleading - Practices start in December, will cheer at games for the boys basketball season (Registration will be open until December 1st)

DIVISIONS:

* 3rd & 4th Grade

* 5th & 6th Grade

* 3rd-6th Cheerleading (during boys basketball season, so girls can do both basketball & cheerleading)

Our website host charges $3 per checkout that we pass on to families, the league covers the 3.99% credit card processing fee.

Refund Policy:

* Prior to division evaluations - 100% less fees

* Prior to division drafts - 50% less fees

* After drafts - 0%

Owensboro Catholic Elementary Sports

Owensboro Catholic Elementary Sports offers Basketball, Volleyball, and Cheerleading for 3rd-6th Graders that either attend Owensboro Catholic Schools or a Catholic parish-sponsored religious education program.

Basketball:
* Girls season runs October-December
* Boys season runs December-February

Volleyball:
* Girls season runs February-April

Cheerleading:
* Season runs December-February in conjunction with boys basketball program
* Girls can play both basketball & cheerleading as seasons have minimal overlap

2025 Girls Elementary Basketball

Games are tentatively scheduled to begin on Saturday, November 1. Games are on Saturdays & Sundays over the following 6 weekends. 10 game schedule per team.

Tournament is tentatively scheduled during the week of 12/16-12/18

League Rules

2025-26 Boys Elementary Basketball

Games are set to begin on Saturday, January 10. Games are on Saturdays & Sundays over the following 6 weekends. 10 game schedule per team.

Tournament is tentatively scheduled for February 19-22.
